We're currently working with an early-stage AI startup building a new way for companies to run their marketing without hiring internal teams.

Their product combines AI and human expertise to handle strategy, content, SEO, ads, and more — delivering actual outcomes (not just tools) for growing businesses.

They're already working with clients and are now focused on turning early traction into a scalable and repeatable go-to-market motion.

About the role

As a Go-to-Market / Sales hire, you'll play a key role in helping the company grow its customer base and define how it sells.

This is a highly hands-on role where you'll own conversations end-to-end — from first touch to closing — while helping refine messaging, positioning, and the overall sales approach.

You'll work closely with the founders to understand what resonates with customers, what drives conversion, and how to turn early wins into a repeatable sales motion.

In the short term, a big part of the role will be about testing and learning — figuring out how to consistently generate demand and convert it into paying customers.

What you'll do

  • Own the sales process end-to-end, from outreach to closing
  • Run discovery calls to understand customer needs and marketing challenges
  • Clearly communicate the value of the product in a simple and compelling way
  • Help refine messaging, positioning, and ICP based on real conversations
  • Identify patterns across deals to improve conversion and build repeatable processes
  • Experiment with outbound and inbound strategies to generate pipeline
  • Work closely with founders to shape the go-to-market approach

Who you are

Must-haves:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or go-to-market roles
  • Experience selling B2B services or products (ideally in marketing, growth, or SaaS)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to clearly explain value
  • Comfortable owning conversations end-to-end and closing deals
  • Ability to operate in early-stage environments with little structure
  • High ownership and a strong bias for action

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in marketing, growth, or performance-driven environments
  • Experience selling to SMBs or mid-market companies
  • Exposure to outbound or building pipeline from scratch
  • Interest in AI and how it can improve business operations
